Feedback from the riders :: email & letters after the riding...

Hi Joe,
Thanks again for a great day! The women's only day was such a fun way to learn new stuff.
I feel a lot more confident about trying out and developing skills I was too timid to attempt before
the course.
Loved the jumps and the skids! Wheelies are going to take some more time though...
Your demos, encouragement and instruction was really valuable.
Looking forward to getting out there and practising.
Happy trails!
Monica

Hey Joe...sorry for the delay in response and thanks for all the great photos.
I'd have to say, looking back, that the ride you took me on through Central Otago was the best adventure
I've been on in my life thus far. It's hard to beat 5 days on a KTM in one of the most beautiful places
in the world. Coming from a Yankee out of California, I can tell you that the hospitality of the land owners
to allow us to access there land to do what we love is what makes it even more special.
Hopefully in the years to come you are able to continue with your passion for off road riding partnering
with some of these land owners...
There are not many outfits such as yours in the states, but there are a few. Some x champions such as
yourself do guided tours in Southern Utah and the rocky mountains. They should take note of how
you do it. The food, drink, guides, riding tips, and accommodations make it a well planned and executed trip.
I feel I came in as an intermediate rider and left close to an expert. I am now riding much more confidently,
smooth, and aggressive. Amazing what a little clutch can do for you.
My favorite stop was the small haunted hotel w/ the hole at the bar..... and knowing that I had lunch at an
all blacks house!
Thanks again Joe. What a great adventure.

Just received the photo disc and the wrap up
Please accept my sincerest thanks for putting up with us all and giving us a truly memorable experience.
It would be appreciated if you could convey my thanks and gratitude where and when able to the land owners the access was a major factor in making the tour such a success.
Hope to catch up again some time in the future.
Stay upright
Warmest regards Stephen M

Hi Joe, how are things going in the cold south? Thanks for the cd with all those excellent photos. I have convinced one of my good riding mates to come down next year for that Easter week ride along with the war birds and race to the sky we are also looking to bring our respective partners. Please also pass on my thanks not only to you and your crew ,but to all the land owners ,D.O.C and to who ever else you had to gain access off in putting together a fantastic tour of countryside I would not normally get to see with out their gracious help a tour like yours would have not been possible.
All the best for the future, kind regards
Frank B.

Joe,
Well, it's several weeks on since our tour and my head's still in the clouds! What a phenomenal experience it was riding in your beautiful country. I have been riding and racing dirt bikes for thirty years. I have ridden all over the western U.S., in Mexico and Australia and I have to say that our ride in New Zealand was the pinnacle of my riding career. The trails and views were just the best. The folks we met couldn't have been nicer or more accommodating. And the food! We surely didn't go hungry. Your organization is very professional and I can't think of anything that could have made for a better vacation.
Please extend my gratitude to the land owners and entities who allowed us access to all of those fantastic trails. I know they don't do this for just anyone... And a special thank you to the farmers and their families who prepared our lunches and allowed us grubby dirt bikers into their homes. It was a very nice touch and was much appreciated.
Thanks again, Joe, and you can be sure I will be back for another tour someday. And if you ever find yourself in Southern California, be sure to contact me and I'll take you riding in MY back yard!

Hi Joe,
Thanks very much for the pictures-excellent stuff, (especially the ones with Me in them)
I have been meaning to write and say thanks, for some time now, but like my riding, letters are something I do slowly and infrequently these days.
Anyway I would just like to say a really big thank you to not only yourself, but also could you pass on my thanks to Wighty, Robbie and Mrs Robbie for their always there when needed, help and good humour, and also if you have the opportunity, say a big thank you to all the landowners for not only the use of their land, but also the excellent meals provided, likewise those who provided accommodation. In other words, the whole package was bloody good.
This was my second 5 day Tour (and hopefully not the last ) -- I thought the first one was excellent, but the organisation this time around was significantly better,-really professional.
Great riding - Greatviews - Greatgroup of people - Great variety of terrain - Great, well great everything - what more can I say,
Thanks a bunch.
Till next time ... err ... thanks.

Hi Joe,
firstly a huge thanks to your crew, I thought the organisation and especially the personality of Whitey, Robbie and Connie made this ride a special event for us North Islanders.
The hospitality and support of the land owners is greatly appreciated, we all realise the difficulties of access to these areas and hope organisations like yours can maintain the dialogue with govt. departments and land owners to ensure future access.
I have done a few long rides overseas recently, and have recommended highly your rides to everyone who is interested. A couple of Canadian guys will hopefully contact you about the ride which includes the Warbirds. They specifically asked me what their wives could do in the area while they were riding, I told them how easy it would be to include families.
Thanks again Joe, for a ride I'll never forget. For guys like me who don't ride everyday it takes a day to get into it, but after that it could go on forever especially with scenery and terrain like that.
Regards
Rod T.

Hi Joe
Thanks for sending the CD up. I've driven Debbie nuts with it showing and talking about what we were doing.
I had a terrific time and it truly was an epic adventure. I've never ridden in that type of terrain before and it took me awhile to come to terms with it. Once I did it was a real blast.
I thought the size of the group was ideal as we spent more time riding than waiting around for other riders. I particularly enjoyed the afternoon of day two, I'm sure that is when we came down off rough ridge. It was fast and flowing.
I believe it is a real privilege to ride through a lot of this country especially since most of it is privately owned. The accommodation, food and hospitality were Superb.
I am definitely planning to do other one of your rides in the future.
Thank you
Stephen G.
